With Beach Cleaning Initiative #1 a success, it’s time for #2.
Barbados Guide ( www.bds.guide ) continues to improve and expand its offering, from quick find searches for businesses, to a local digital marketplace for vendors to sell their goods and services online. Our marketplace removes the need for cash, moves items quickly and are easily redeemable in store.

Our blog continue to educate and provide insights for those wanting to know more about what Barbados has to offer and what’s going on and coming up for the season. This one is all about our upcoming Beach Cleaning Initiative #2, once again at the stunning Carlisle Bay area on Sunday, September 29th at 8.00 am. It will be another morning filled with camaraderie, sunshine, and the satisfaction of giving back to our beloved island.
“We’re thrilled to announce our second community based Beach Cleaning initiative in the stunning Carlisle Bay area!“
Keeping Carlisle Bay Clean and Proper.
So do join us on Sunday, September 29th, from 8.00 am to 11.00 am for a morning filled with family fun, camaraderie, sunshine, and the satisfaction of giving back to our beloved island. Once again, the founders of Barbados Guide, Rafal and Daniel, will be rolling up our sleeves, donning our gloves, and armed with our buckets and garbage bags, continue to work towards preserving the beauty of our beaches. Let’s once again come together to create a pristine environment for ourselves, our children, visitors, and the precious wildlife that call our shores home!

Bring the whole family along! Let’s instill in our kids the importance of environmental stewardship and the joy of caring for our coastal treasures. With your help, we’ll make Sept 29th a day to remember! Some refreshments will be provided courtesy of the cutting edge and innovative local water company Eco Skywater. Click on their name to find out more about this amazing company and their air to water system. Again, some delectable treats will be available from Peter’s Barbados Bakery. Fresh coffee from Pop Up Coffee, will be available, and our friends from Enlightened Travelers unique hiking specialists will also be rejoining us.

This event is again, generously supported by Soul Street, a compassionate documentary film company and foundation from California. They film, find and fund inspirational content across the American Urban landscape, and are currently creating a culturally relevant local documentary to the Barbadian landscape. As part of their rhythmic outlook, we will be having a small fun Beach Bucket Drum Circle Session to conclude the effort. Together, we continue to make waves and some music in the fight against beach pollution!
With your help, we’ll pave the way for a future where our beaches remain clean and pristine for generations to come. We’re immensely grateful to each and every one of you who joins us on September 29th at 8.00am at the Browne’s Beach Car Park. Your presence makes a world of difference!
