Went to purchase some African clothing for my daughter who has an African Awareness dress up day this week. Lots of lovely designs. The place is much larger than you'd expect when driving by. The staff was very helpful and friendly. An update of the last review from 2 years ago, they do accept cards for payment now.

Nice small Tourist and clothes shop.
-I stopped by here because i walked past and saw they had paintings in the window, and a goal for every trip i go on is to get a local painting. So i stopped by to look and ask about prices
-Prices were from 35$ US to 175$US for the big ones. I got a medium/small size, for 50$ US.
-You can pay by credit card, and altho it didnt work with my card to tap or insert, so i just went to get cash from the ATM. but i think it would have worked because it gave the same message at a place at the airport on my way out, and the lady there swiped the magnetic strip, and then it was approved. so maybe we just needed to swipe it here to work.
-One thing i will mention, is that on the way out the owner asked me what my beliefs were. And i told her atheist, that i dont believe in anything, or that i believe in science instead. and the nice lady started to make fun of me by asking, and laughing, if we came from monkeys, and why were current monkeys not humans right now.
overall it was a good time here

Bought a beautiful picture of chattel houses. Janet was very patient as couldn’t get money out of cash point! Had to go back the next day. Would of bought lots more if could pay by card.
Lots of beautiful bajan pictures. Would definitely buy from again.
