Went for a two tank dive which started at 9am and ended at 12:45. Visited two locations, including a cement factory. Equipment was clean and newish, Scott gave clear instructions and help where needed. BB$360 for 2tank, 1 day.

Scott and his assistant did an exceptional job with us on our 2 scuba dives on a brief stop in port with Norwegian Cruise Lines. He was very thorough with his information and price break downs in our email exchanges. He planed our taxi pick up and drop off and informed us ahead of time with instructions to easily meet our taxi driver. Upon arrival at our meeting site, he already had the boat and gear loaded for us to roll. He was safety minded and reviewed each dive plan with us in complete detail, which left me impressed with him. He was extremely thorough I. His set up, details of each dive, and was very friendly. We had great conversations in between each dive. He also took picture and video for us on his GoPro. I had mine with me as well. Scott being a more experienced diver took exceptional video and pictures for us. He made sure we had plenty of time for the 2 dives and safely get back to the ship as well. I highly recommend using Barbados Scuba ! Scott as the owner/operator did an exceptional job with us and I looked forward to using him again when we visit Barbados again.

Had two excellent dives with Scott. Two great dives with healthy reefs and interesting wrecks. He shared some photos with us. Was a perfect experience. Scott took care of everything and was very knowledgeable. Hope to return and do more diving!

I booked two dives and a night dive with Scott. On the first dive, at 20 meters, my regulator inflator got stuck in the inflate position, meaning I was filling with air fast and started to rise. It was terrifying. Scott swam up and disconnected my hose so it stopped. On the boat afterwards he said, "Usually people get scared and keep pushing it, and I have to pull their hand away, but that wasn't true for you. The button got stuck down." He said he maintained all his gear well so he was surprised this happened. I was on my 20th dive so I was fairly new to it and definitely had never had that happen before. It was terrifying. We had two more dives scheduled, and I was shaken, but I wanted to get the dives in so we switched out my BCD and we did another dive. On this second dive I realized as we settled at the bottom of the dive that I could hear a small hissing noise. And I kept having to release air from my BCD even though I wasn't inflating it at ll. I tried to signal that there was some problem but Scott didn't understand. I figured I must be doing something wrong because what are the chances my equipment was bad two dives in a row? And I also thought I could keep releasing air and watch my guage and I would be okay. But throughout the dive my ability to maintain boyancy was a constant fight as the air in my BCD kept changing. It was an awful dive, not fun at all, me trying to figure out if there was an imminent danger or if I was being paranoid. We got to the end of the dive as planned, back in the boat, and I said I think there is a leak in my BCD. Scott was very skeptical. He said, let's leave it here on the tank deflated and we'll see if there's a leak. We came back 10 minutes later and the BCD was full of air. He apologized and said yes, there is a leak. He said he was suprised because he maintains all his own gear and this doesn't happen. At that point the sun had gone down. We were supposed to do a night dive but I said, "I can't do another dive with this equipment". Scott said okay and we went back to the dock. After putting the gear away, Scott said, "Well we did two dives, I'll just charge you for the two we did. Everyone else on the island charges $140 so I'll charge that. Don't worry about the night dive." I was shocked. I paid him.
Those are the facts. You can draw your own conclusions. My conclusions are: Scott does not maintain safe, working gear. His "shop" is a shack by the side of the road that he told me had been broken into recently. And it's absolutely crazy to charge me "full price" when he didn't provide the agreed service--a safe, full tank dive. Not even one of the two was a proper dive for me. On top of that, the price he quoted was absolutely not the going rate for dives on the island. I had found two shops that charge less, but I had chosen Scott because of the reviews. I think it is completely dishonest for him to charge his full price when he didn't provide a good service. I would never dive with him again. I hope he doesn't get someone injured or worse.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my dives to an injury sustained on Barbados, but Scott was fast to communicate and made some snorkeling recommendations for my kids in lieu of us going out with him. If in Barbados again, I fully intend to dive with this outfit.
