Bath Beach located in St. John is a rugged east coast beach with some of the calmest waters on the eastern coast. Bath is an ideal place for swimming due to the reef many yards out that form the shore that protect the waters from rough seas. A popular place for picnics with the large Casuarina trees providing adequate shade. Quiet and serenity mark this spot on weekdays but you expect to find crowds flocking to Bath Beach weekends and on holidays to enjoy the open spaces and the crisp ocean air.
