I’m a NJ surfer and I think soup bowl was too dangerous for me and also doesn’t have good conditions most of the time. This spot was much safer and provided consistent nice size waves. It’s also nearby the area where you want to stay on the island close to other attractions.

One of the best surf breaks in Barbados and when the elements line up it’s one of the best in the world. Flat reef bottom , sea urchins and stone fish species frequent this break.
Beautiful white sand beach , turquoise water and a popular turtle nesting site.

Ultimately the best & most consistent surf break on the south coast . The only surf location on the south coast used to host professional international surf competitions . Dread or Dead surf shop home break !
