Located in historic Bridgetown in one of many historical buildings along broad street, this bank has a spacious interior and a nice layout...the service or should I say lack of is where everything go downhill.
I tried to avoid this location as much as possible, as it always has unbearable long lines, 9/10 times I usually retreat back on the outside once I set foot inside and see the queue.
The location has multiple teller stations but hardly an agent is appointed to most...the convenient 24hrs SMART machines is where I ended up doing most of my banking, (and hope they don't malfunction while in the middle of transacting...as on 2 occasions I saw it happened with other clients, and guess where they have to go and lodge a complaint/dispute?....in the said long lines).
I had to familiarized myself to these quickly as my time would've been spent mostly in a line all day, an alley drive thru is also available...but wouldn't recommend at night.
I feel especially sorry for the senior citizens...as they should made provisions for them.

Oh. My. God. The service here is terrible.
There are people who decide to go to the teller and give their entire life story it seems.
The tellers have a lazy attitude towards their work and don't seem to be in any rush whatsoever to get things done.
Please for the love of all things peaceful, make a geriatric line specifically for them because they seem to be part of the issue also.
If however, the mission here Is to frustrate people and take up half their day (it's going on three hours we've been here now), then congratulations. This place is doing great on that.

It would be zero stars if that were a possibilty. Been here in line at the Broad street branch for over an hour and there are still 10 clients ahead of me. ONLY 3 tellers are working. People behind me are literally screaming for help. Got so loud that the manager popped her head out, said NOTHING and went back to her office. Yes I am on vacation but it's the local clients that are angry and getting loud. I don't blame them. There is no one triaging clients. There is no manager presence on the floor to address client concerns about the wait. Lots of elderly people who cannot stand in the line to wait. It's a sad state of affairs. I'm embarrassed for this bank. 😕

Line always long , I was suppose to pick up my card for a year now and I can’t get it cause the line always super long with one person at the desk to cater for so many. Let’s all just try Scotiabank instead.

It's the worst bank I've known so far. I went to broad street branch to open an account ...as of now no response. I left messages for the manager and other staff ...no one replied. If you want a bank where no one responds and very lazy staff this is the one.
