I recently had the pleasure of staying at Coconut Court Beach Hotel in Barbados, and overall, we had a great experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, with the ladies in the restaurant going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Shem, our bartender, who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were always greeted with a smile, and Shem felt like family by the end of our stay. His warm personality and attentiveness made us feel so comfortable, and he has a knack for making everyone feel at home. The hotel would be wise to do whatever it takes to keep him around, as he definitely keeps the customers happy and serves up some of the best rum punch we’ve ever had! However, we did encounter a few disappointments that I feel are worth mentioning. The beach towel situation was a bit off-putting and felt unsanitary. As paying customers, it shouldn’t be an issue to ask for a new, fresh beach towel, yet we were instructed that if we needed a fresh towel, we would have to pay for it. I’ve never encountered anything like this before, and it was quite surprising. Additionally, I believe the rooms could be better appointed. Simple amenities like coffee and tea would enhance the experience, and a little more attention to detail in cleaning—especially in the corners of showers and behind the toilets—would go a long way in improving overall cleanliness. Despite these concerns, the atmosphere at Coconut Court is relaxed and inviting, making it a great getaway. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful stay in Barbados. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable!

We paid for an upgrade to an ocean view and I would highly recommend this if you are planning on staying here (their annex building is on the other side of the highway). The room was fine. A/C worked well but was incredibly loud (especially from the balcony - you couldn't have it on and hold a comfortable conversation while sitting out on the balcony at all). Wifi was good, and housekeeping serviced the room each day. I would suggest that the hotel should not cheap-out on amenities though. A kitchen is provided, but dish soap and a scrubbing pad are not (we called down thinking it was accidental but were told to go and buy our own). They also charge if you would like to change out your beach towel - I would suggest making this complimentary every 3 days or something, especially for folks staying for extended periods. All this said, we really did love our stay - the manager rum punch evening was nice, staff were friendly, they have a lovely gift shop and a selection of books to read. The pool was enjoyable, and the premises are a short walk down to the boardwalk (it connects you to restaurants etc.). I would wear water shoes in the ocean here, and bring your snorkel equipment :).

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a short break to Barbados and I must say, I will definitely stay again! The staff were very helpful. I travelled with my 86 elderly mum and so requested ground floor room when I was booking but somehow got given a room with few stairs upon check in but two staff from the hotel Durant and Maurice were amazing and got this sorted for me, thank you Durant and Maurice. Also the ladies at the restaurant were helpful and lovely but I’ll like to say a special thank you to Sharina for being so lovely at breakfast. One of the owners also popped by to say hello to us during breakfast, which I thought was quite nice and even remembered my mum and I when she saw us again. Thank you Coconut Court Beach hotel for the amazing hospitality, I will definitely stay again!

This is hotel that is well kept. Has a beautiful beach in the back of the property. It also has a good restaurant onsite, along with an outdoor bar by the beach. In the evening there is nice island music entertainment. The staff is very friendly and respectful. There is parking available.

Great hotel. I would have awarded 5 stars but I had an issue with them taking $600 off my credit, which I was not aware when booking, but more importantly, the staff stated that no monies would be taken until the end of my stay, for any breakages, foods etc...sadly monies was withheld on my card for pending charges. However, let's move on. The staff were welcoming, warm, and polite. The whole hotel facilities were clean, well decorated and furnished (I did read somewhere that the decor was tired and needed up dating...rubbish). The beach area felt like it was the hotels private beach with a lovely lagoon, just right for young families, as the smoking there is brilliant. Their 2 restaurants and beach bar is great too. Special mention to their female Soou Chef, who shared 5 minutes with me. Thank you again Coconut Court Beach Hotel, as this is my 3rd stay.
