The apartment is peaceful, exceptionally clean, spacious and inviting with good energy. Cheron and Walwen truly take pride in the attention to every detail. From the comfy beds, to having a blender (this was unexpected, and allowed me to make my hemp milk). The exterior of the house has such charm, from the side bench, the koi pond to the beautiful landscaping. Cheron is such a special person. She has a genuine warmth, kindness, and vibrancy which radiates. What more could we ask for? It felt like a little home away from home. Thank you for making us feel more like family, than guests. We now have new friends! Highly Recommend. What are you waiting for? Just book it!

What can I say?! This is the best home away from home you could wish for. We booked to stay at Coconut walk for 45 nights and had such a good time we extended for a further 16 nights. The apartment itself is managed by a couple (Cheron and Walwen) who have spent their lives working in the hospitality industry and this truly reflects in not only the quality of the apartment but also the level of service offered. We are repeat visitors to the island and have stayed in many properties over the past 10 years. Without doubt, Coconut walk is one of the best equipped, cleanest and most relaxing places we've stayed. We were travelling with our one year old child and Cheron couldn't have done more to accommodate. There was the most beautiful crib all made up when we arrived, all with brand new bedding. It was clear every effort had been taken to provide excellence. Even toys and books were provided for the youngster - outstanding service. As per previous reviews, there is aircon in all the rooms, the large four-poster beds in both rooms are fitted with great mattresses. The kitchen is super well equipped. I'm genuinely a fairly picky person and really couldn't have found anything to fault at Coconut walk. Even the fridge was large, brand-new and equipped with an ice making machine which was such a treat. Over the course of our stay, we got to know Cheron well and she treated us like family. We could have stayed at Coconut Walk forever, finding such a comfortable and modern apartment with such warm and accommodating hosts was truly great luck. It should also be mentioned that Walwen makes one of the best Rum punches you will find on the island. If you're considering staying at Coconut walk, just book it. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed with Walwen and Cheron for 13 nights in September 2021. The apartment is spotless with everything you need is all there. Located across the road from the beach and nature reserve with lovely views, we had breakfast on the balcony most mornings which we miss since being back in the UK. Cheron is a very good host and will help you with anything you need including meals from her menu which we enjoyed many times. Cherons salads are a must try which come with your mains order. We hired a car which again Cheron helped with and they dropped the car to the apartment. While we were there we had a problem with the aircon in the bedroom which Walwen promply fixed. We enjoyed our time which was made better by Walwen and Cheron treating us like family and we will be back. Gary & Yvonne from the Uk

We had the pleasure of staying with Wallwen and Cheron for the first two weeks of 2021. What a pleasure it was to live under their roof. Located across from a national park and the famous surfing beach, silver sands, your location is ideal for people who love the outdoors but also want a hint of luxury. Make sure you rent a car as although coconut walk is centrally located in the south of the island, having wheels to get you places is more ideal - the island is small but the drives are deceivingly long! Haha. Taxis can be hired but are expensive. The house in which the apartment is located was built by their family from the ground up. Surrounded by the most extraordinary tropical garden, filled with orange, avocado and coconut palm trees. Wallwen tends to his garden daily and Cheron is outside every morning sweeping the driveway and pathways. They take the most pride in home ownership that I have ever seen- and that’s a lot considering I’m a real estate agent!! The apartment is glorious! It’s huge with stone/coral walls and tiled floors. There is AC in every room as well and fans and screens on the windows so you can choose which way you want to cool down. To be honest, we loved having the windows open (screens down) and fans on- being by the ocean is just magical. Four post beds with that old school charm, you’ll find yourself comparing it to the Crane! A fully functional kitchen is available for you to make meals, but do yourself a favour and order the bajan brunch made by Cheron for the evening of your arrival- you won’t regret it! Shared between two people it fed us dinner for two days!! (We ordered it twice!!! Soooooooo good) I can’t say enough good things. We visit this island yearly (sometimes twice a year) and we will go back to visit Cheron and Wallwen moving forward- they have become family ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Walk Apartments. Our host Cheron is a delight to know. From the very beginning of planning our trip to Barbados, communication with Cheron was seamless. She was quite attentive to whatever needs we had while on the island. The apartment is nicely located, about 20 minutes from Bridgetown and 10 minutes from Oistins which for us is “around the corner.” It is located across from Silver Sands Beach which you can clearly view from the balcony, quite beautiful but more for surfing and kite flying due to strong currents. We did do some exercises on the beach though, such a lovely scenery. Other calmer beaches are within 10 minutes-drive. We found Brown’s beach overlooking Carlisle Bay in Bridgetown to be our return spot on a daily basis. Coconut Walk apartment had everything we needed for our stay, it was well equipped. In looking for places to stay, most places that is not just one room have air conditioning (AC) only in the bedroom. However, Cheron’s place had AC in all main areas which was very important to us as Barbados gets quite hot. The setting is quite picturesque with lush tropical plants which we really liked. When we do return to Barbados, we will stay at no other. Well-kept quest quarters, luxury at an affordable price, peaceful and safe surrounding, secure parking, security lights, amiable and accommodating host, – what more could one ask for?
