Coral Mist Beach Hotel

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Happy that didn't have to stay longer. The rooms are very dated, with the decor straight from the 80's. There is no soundproofing. We had drunk British guys talking loudly outside our window till 1:30 am and we could hear literally every word. The hotel couldn't care less despite multiple complaints.

Wonderful experience. Coral Mist is a lovely home away from home, right on the beach with a beautiful pool. The staff is wonderful, Sonita and Tisha at the front desk, the day manager, and Barbara, who kept our room nice and clean. Thank you all for giving my son and me a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back.

Right on the beach, superb ocean views from all rooms. Rooms are a little outdated and need a little bit of TLC. Short walk to Hastings to the left on exit and The Gap to the right, staff are welcoming and approachable. The onsite bar and restaurant does seem a bit more expensive, a shame but local supermarket is only a fiver minute walk.

We had a fabulous stay. The front desk was kind and very helpful. We had the 1 bedroom - the room was spacious and we had a waterfront view. The walk to the beach was 10 seconds and it was goregous. The only minor issue was the drainage in the shower, it was slow. Beach was beautiful with umbrellas and lounge chairs. The water is more wavier here. Carlyle Bay has calm waters but if you kids like waves, they will love this. I enjoyed the beach here very much. There was a day where massive amount of seaweed washed up on the shore, BUT magically the next day it was gone. I was so surprised, perhaps they hired someone to sweep the seaweed off the beach. There is a shuttle for 3.50BBD that comes often that takes you along the stretch and you can go to different areas like bridgetown, Carlyle Bay, Oistin, St lawerence Gap etc. They run very often and you can hear them honking if you want to get one. It's very safe and Barbaods in general is safe and lovely people. Cleaning staff was great and the restaurant we enjoyed. The concerige to book your excursion was also great! It was a lovely holiday!

I can not say enough about celebrating our 30 anniversary and our 30th visit to Barbados at Coral Mist. This review is some what late but I tend to keep my favorite places a secret, however this place or gem of a find was unbelievable. There are no complaints just a rave review. An appreciation for customer care and comfort. The Hospitality from all the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we heard the waves and then until we sad goodbye. Thank you to all who were there working hard to provide amazing customer service and warm Bajun hospitality.. if you disagree with me then your just a "cheese on bread" head. July19 to july25 2024.
