Beautiful beach! A tractor cleans up the seaweeds every morning so it's very well maintained. And the staff at the bar is very attentive!

Beautiful spot thats not busy. The eastern side of the island is not recommended for swimming but the beach and sand was fun to visit. Chairs available for rent or bring your own.

We came to catch the sunrise. Perfect view. Beach wasn't suitable for taking a dip but it was ideal for an early morning walk.

We read that Crane beach has pink sand, it doesn’t. Soft powdery yellow sand as everywhere on the island. Lounger and umbrella hire is currently 50BBD which is 20 more than the rest of the island, no tables but a captive market. There is one cafe which even though not busy still took an hour to make our salads, they kindly gave us a free drink because of the staffing problems. As it fronts onto the Atlantic coast the waves are big, only suitable for the shallows or very strong swimmers, always a red ‘no swimming’ flag displayed. On the plus side, the east coast is picturesque, more craggy, a hot Cornwall! Made a special trip because we read it was one of the most beautiful beaches… each to their own. Photo attached taken after walking along a small path that’s falling away!

What a beautiful beach. The water is not quiet, it has a lot of waves. Some are stronger than others. However it is a pleasure to play with those waves. The sunchairs and umbrellas are free and the people are very friendly. You can also get towels if you have a card for it. Always will come back to enjoy this beach again. Highly recommanded.
