Sam is BY FAR the kindest and most honest person my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of renting a car from. Everything from start to finish went by smoothly and the we rented from Sam was perfect 👌
He was the one who taught us that all cars for hire in Barbados has blue number/licence plates that start with the letter H - this is so important to remember when you're renting a car here! If you hire a vehicle that does not have a blue “H” number/license plate, chances are it is illegal and you may have no insurance coverage in the event of an accident. My husband and I travelled with two young children, so a proper insurance is a basic essential for us.
I cannot recommend Sam from Dial A Hire Car Rentals enough. He has truly helped make our holiday in Barbados special 😊

Sam was the only rental car company that had great communication with us so we decided to rent from them. Sam met us at the cruise terminal the car was clean and in great condition and I liked that paperwork was prepared in advance and he gave us copy of drivers permit which other islands did not do that. We highly recommend you don’t do shore excursions with cruise ship and definitely don’t take taxis which we found out was extremely expensive. The best option is to rent a car with dial a hire car rentals and you will be able to choose what you want to do for the day. We explored the island, roads in good condition and it was so easy.

The best rent car company in Barbados. I was having a hard time finding a car. However, this company not only was prompt in service but also extremely professional. The rate was amazing compared to other companies nearby. The car was delivered to my hotel and also picked up. The brother is very polite, responsible & absolutely great! I highly recommend anyone visiting barbados renting car from this company! You will love it!

Great customer service, affordable rentals and reliable, clean cars. I rented a car very last minute and they were more than happy to assist. Sam the owner was polite and flexible with pick up/drop off times. I had the choice of airport collection & drop off or Bridgetown. The car itself ran well without any issues. I would not hesitate to rent from them again. It's good to support local businesses.

We rented a Suzuki APV over the Christmas period in Barbados and were very happy. Sam and his son are great representatives of this family-run business. They are polite, honest, and provide a great service. It is worth mentioning that DAH Rentals didn't take part in the usual 'price gouging' that often happens around this time of the year and continued to provide their rentals at a fair price. Watch out for other companies that provide rentals with private vehicles fitted with black registration plates; hire cars should always be fitted with white registration plates. If you have an accident in a private car that has been rented out, insurance might not cover it.
Would definitely recommend the copmany and use them again if we travel to Barbados.
