Earthworks Pottery

Earthworks Pottery is a production pottery in the Caribbean island of Barbados. Established in 1983 by Goldie Spieler, Earthworks is now run by her son David, along with the capable Earthworks staff of 24 persons.

Red clay ceramic pieces fired to stoneware temperatures make our pottery ideal for the home or restaurant.

We create a fully functional line of tableware in round, square, rectangular and oval. From 20" platters to plates to tiny coasters; bowls in all shapes and sizes.

Visited on Saturday before closing time. As a fellow Potter was delighted to see inside the studio and their store on site. Very friendly, welcoming and has inspired me further in my own pottery work moving forward.

We took in an afternoon pottery class today with Pauline. It was a wonderful way to learn about working with clay and got to create, pain and glaze a project that will be ready before we leave Barbados.

I always enjoy visiting Earthworks, and have often sourced Christmas and birthday presents here. Lots of beautiful pieces, and you can see the potters at work at the back. The staff and owner are always lovely and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful pottery and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a beautiful souvenir or gift of high quality, this is the place.

This is a really great place for pottery that displays Barbados. There's a wide selection of pottery, and they can custom make pieces. Shipping is available. They do a great job of wrapping your purchase for plane travel.
