Upmarket housewares, well laid out and I've always been able to find unique pieces or surprising bargains when I visit.

Great store in a central location. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. They have lots of dining and kitchen items.

I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with Gajah and the quality of their merchandise. I have a hard time trusting and believing the perceived quality vs the actual. For example, their 1800TC Egyptian cotton sheets are not pure cotton and probably not even Egyptian cotton—they’re definitely microfibre which is a common practice in tricking consumers that the smoothness is attributed to long-staple, Egyptian cotton. They’re clingy, staticy and very unbreathable. Truth be told, I should have known better than believing 1800TC Egyptian cotton sheets can cost $300. Also, their furniture—a lot of it is sourced cheaply through budget brands like Zinus (very popular on Amazon) and sold for 5-10x the price (as someone who often imports, the duties and taxes and freight is not that high). There is no reason that a 100-200USD Zinus bed should cost over 2000BBD. A lot of their homeware items can be found in more budget conscious stores like SAS and Abed’s for a fraction of the price. Service is just “ok.”
