The experience at this location was exceptional.
Not only was the staff knowledgeable regarding the items required but the price for the items purchased was probably the most affordable overall.
Now here's the kicker...the matriarch herself made the experience there all the more enjoyable.
Her banter was well received and to suddenly be surprised by a gift after the delightful banter was really the icing on the cake.
For a first time experience I will recommend this place and I'll be returning again for all my electrical and plumbing purposes just to be engaged in a conversation.

A hole in the wall business in the inner city just skirting Bridgetown where you can find all your electrical and plumbing needs.
Friendly knowledgeable staff that sure to get you what you looking for.
The shopping experince there was great for though there was an electricity outage Grimes was able to carry on as usual.
I highly recommend this niche boutique hardware. Just look for their sign on the West side of Hindsbury road travelling North coming to the traffic lights.

I've always found Grimes Ellectrical to be the best and most convenient hardware outlet in Barbados today. The staff there are very knowledgeable and courteous, always willing to assist where possible. On two separate occasions, visiting there to get electrical material for home projects, it was easy and affordable to get everything on my list provided by my electrician, for areas of doubt, the staff was able to assist and provided valuable and accurate recommendations for me to complete my projects on time, the equipment was of the highest quality and perfectly priced. I HIGHLY recommend Grimes Ellectrical for all of your electrical needs, the owner is a pleasant and very helpful person. Please note, the operators here are practicing adventist. As a result, the store is closed on Saturdays but open on Sundays. Which makes them the be best convenience for emergency hardware runs.

Small electrical and plumbing outlet, has a wide variety of products. Good service, sometimes you get a small birthday gift with purchases.
