What a beautiful place to head too, super friendly staff, very easy to access once on site, great facilities, with toilets on the arrival level, and lifts to get you down to the caves. The Birds and the garden walk are accessible only by walking. Case tour is all by tram, so very easy for all ages, and stunning views once in with your guide talking you through the caves and features. Well worth a visit, and only half an hour from the cruise terminal too. Not to be missies if you have the time.

The whole experience was amazing. The zip line was as much fun as the cave tour.
The people running the park were great but the people checking everyone in, on the reception were insanely slow. 20 of us had to wait an hour for two women to finish their conversation before they decided to check us in. It was just mental.
But, the food, zip line and cave tour were all incredible.

Truly a Magical Underground Adventure!
Harrison’s Cave was an absolute dream! The moment we stepped into the cool, subterranean world, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the limestone formations and crystal-clear waters.
Our knowledgeable guide made the experience even more special, sharing fascinating insights into the cave’s history and geology. The darkness, the silence, and the sheer magnitude of the underground river were simply awe-inspiring.
We were particularly impressed by the efficiency of the operation; there was no wait time, and the entire experience was seamless. The combination of natural wonder, expert guidance, and impeccable service made Harrison’s Cave a highlight of our trip. It’s a must-visit for anyone traveling to Barbados!

We chose a short trip which around an hour/ hour and a half. In my opinion that was totally fine. Very interesting experience. You will be 160 feet under ground. There are few cart trains that will take around the cave. Guide was very informative and fun. Seeing underground small rivers and lakes, millions of years old crystal caverns is impressive. At one moment they will turn off all the lights and you will feel the darkness( be ready 😊).
Check trip times on website before getting there to avoid waiting.
There is a zip line and climbing if you are a fan. Also you can try Mount Guy rum right from distillery. Small gift shop is great.
Highly recommended.
Few tips -hidden jewels
If you’re nature lovers I will recommend Hunte’s Gardens. For entertainment check out Harbor Lights. Good food -Tapas restaurant on boardwalk.

When we arrived, we hadn't properly researched what Harrisons Cave was, so were surprised that it was a sort of adventure park (even though the clue is in the name! 🤦♀️).
We hadn't booked in advance, which can save time for signing the waiver forms, but as we had got there for opening time there wasnt much of a wait. But I can imagine when it gets busier, having booked online can help save time.
There are various combinations of activities you can purchase, from the tram trail, zip wire, adventure course. We bought the tram trail for $57 US per person.
The tram ride was interesting and we got to explore inside the cave, there are stops so you can look around and take photos. The total time from watching the video until leaving the cave was about 1 hour.
We then enjoyed the poor area and got to check out the nature trail with the birds.
Was a nice morning out, and something for most to enjoy. So giving it a 4*.
