Hidden Gem Barbados exceeded all our expectations. Situated right by the sea, it offered a tranquil setting where we could hear the soothing sound of waves at night – an unbeatable location. Our room was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The manager, Ameena, was exceptional, providing invaluable tips on local attractions and events that truly enriched our trip. The hotel’s charming building and cozy ambiance made it an ideal retreat.
Although we were initially concerned about transportation since the hotel is a bit removed from the town, we found the proximity to the final stop of the local minibusses to be a huge advantage. These minibusses were incredibly convenient, running every 5 to 10 minutes, and allowed us to explore nearby towns like Oistins and Bridgetown affordably. This ease of access made our daytime and nighttime outings from Hidden Gem effortless.
While the coastline in front of the hotel isn’t suitable for swimming, getting to other renowned beaches via local transportation was simple and quick. Additionally, its close proximity to the airport made our departure seamless.
Choosing Hidden Gem Barbados was the best decision for our trip. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience – we can’t wait to return!

This is truly a hidden gem, the most amazing place we have stayed in our travels. We were welcomed by Ameena late in the evening due to flight delays. She was flexible to stay late to accommodate us in. The entire stay was made very comfortable with genuine and authentic service. The facilities are awesome: secluded from the market areas/beaches, lots of rooms and an open/common pool area. We were in the serenity room which is on the main level and with direct access to the pool. The other rooms are on the first level. Will definitely recommend this gem to anyone travelling to Barbados esp if you want somewhere quiet.

Oh my God. This place right here! I cannot say enough about how spectacular our visit was. From the time we entered the gate I knew that I made the right decision to stay here. I only wish we could have stayed here the entire time! Ameena is absolutely amazing! I feel like I gained a sister during my stay. My girls loved her (I was there with my teen daughter and her best friend for her 16th birthday) and she went above and beyond for us. I’ve already recommended this place to several people, and I will be staying here when I come back with my husband next year. I honestly wish we could stay longer. Hidden Gem is beautiful in every way, such a wonderful place to stay. I mean they thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. It is an absolute gem - a bit “hidden” but so worth it! We will miss this place!

We haven’t stayed in this location in the island before which is situated in a quiet mainly residential area close to the ocean. We always hire a car so getting around really was not a problem. For couples or friends this really is an absolute “gem”. We usually stay in large hotels when visiting the island so the accommodation was totally out of our comfort zone. We didn’t need to worry as after a day we felt like we had known Anne-Marie ( host) and Amnena (Manager) for years.
We loved it so much we have booked again for November this year. Highly recommended 😁

My mom and I stayed at Hidden Gem for a week in November and our experience was nothing short of phenomenal! Ann Marie and Ameena are fantastic hosts and provided great suggestions for beaches, sightseeing, food, nightlife, etc. Hidden Gem is extremely well kept - clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated! Additionally we were provided a very affordable rental car, great taxi service, delicious breakfast every morning, beach towels, pool towels, etc. The property is gated and extremely secure. You are just a few steps away from a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a convenience store and local bar. It was a perfect experience and I am already looking to plan my next trip!
