Dilapidated buildings in need of improved preventative maintenance. Employees also seemed considerably inconvenienced when engaging with their customers. The hotel has a lot of potential and obviously was beautiful back in the day but I would say Googles assessment of this being a 3 star hotel is spot on. Lastly, the food quality was not great and unbelievably expensive. My wife and I don’t drink and each meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner!) was consistently between $100-220+ which is fine IF the food quality matched the cost!

Check in is a disaster! Used Hilton points and paid over 250 US for a room with a rooftop pool. Did not get into the room until just before 5. Property needs plenty of love to say the least ... I have included pics of the pool up top. I thought it was sand, but nope ... just rubed through the surfacing. A few good people here, but the place needs some attention for sure! No towel person on attendance, just garbage bags lol.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. No ambient music, just the sound of crashing waves and native birds. Great food and drink options. Fun activities. Spacious suites and condos. My favorite place to spend time in Barbados.

EDIT- UPDATE Hilton Grand Vacation from The Crane Barbados called me today. That in itself speaks volumes, lately no businesses care about anything, especially the customer being happy. Danielle was understanding and I'm sure it wasn't fun listening to me carry on and on, but she did! They also made up for the no air conditioning. The resort is beautiful, probably the nicest in Barbados and if I am ever lucky enough I would go back My family has been Hilton Grand Vacation owners since 2001. It is a HUGE expense for what you get. It took me a long time to write this because I am was disturbed by this. We went to the Crane for our Honeymoon from 6/8/2024 - 6/15/2024. I can tell anyone who owns with Hilton it is NOT worth TWO years points. The resort itself is very pretty. Please keep in mind Barbados is extremely hot & humid. Our room's AC was broken. We had multiple calls to maintenance, left on hold, people in and out of the room with ladders. All they would say is "it's fixed, should work soon" we had a beautiful Ocean view room with a private plunge pool but when you're uncomfortable dripping with sweat, it's is kind of hard to enjoy it! The staff is friendly for the most part, but it didn't solve the problem. The front desk will also leave you on hold, say there's nothing they can do. It's not like we're rolling in money, this was TWO YEARS worth of points. We did go to the cocktail reception where we spoke to Hilton Grand Vacation management who were selling other people. I should have gotten his name but I was trying to enjoy my honeymoon. He promised points would be deposited back to my family's account. They weren't and no on helps. It's money thrown away. For the amount we pay in yearly dues we could have went all inclusive to a 5 star resort. Hilton does not care, they have our money. Our honeymoon was basically luxury camping for thousands upon thousands of dollars and in 2025 we have no points for a vacation therefore, either no vacation or we have to pay plus we still have Hilton Grand vacation dues but no vacation through them. The resort itself is beautiful. It is secluded from the hustle & bustle and it's too bad as LOYAL Hilton Grand Vacation owner's since 2001 we could not enjoy our honeymoon. Food and drinks are extremely, extremely expensive but the whole island is. I'm not picky and I am very understanding however on my honeymoon - using two years of vacation points I think we deserve AT LEAST the minimum. Hilton Grand Vacation should be ashamed of themselves. Either give us our points for 2025 or waive our almost $2,000. We'll have to pay well over that to redo our honeymoon and have an AIR CONDITIONED room.

Nice place to stay, however they appeared shorthanded of in areas such as restaurants. Also, more path way lights are needed. Great room..
