Excellent place for food & cocktails & right on the beach. Leo & Alex are the owners and know how to run an excellent restaurant, Shout out to Ronnie & Jason who were also very friendly and attentive.
We visited a few times at happy hour and will be visiting next time we're in Barbados

This has to be the most beautiful setting of any restaurant I've been to, anywhere. Open right on the beach to hear the waves crashing and feel the breeze blowing, and a perfect place to watch the sun setting, you can even stroll out onto the sand to soak in the view. It's relaxed atmosphere is great and the food is always amazing, the best Italian food we had on the island. The cocktails are fantastic too, go for happy hour but make sure you stay for the food. The owners and all the staff are lovely (big up Britney!) We will be back!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Barbados! Very friendly servers and staff (which always makes all the difference), quick service and great food.
Most of the restaurants that sit on the beach have great views but we liked the views at IL tempio the best. Enjoying dinner with the sunset in front of you while sailboats and catamarans glided slowly past was perfect.
The parking lot is small and tight, but we took our time and had no issues. The food was delicious (not American sized portions) and the bar was fast. At the end of your meal the check will come and you can pay at the bar.

Out for dinner tonight at il Tempo as we fancied some Italian nosh. Food was lovely. We had garlic bread with cheese and bruchetta for starters and lasagne, gluten free pasta with ricotta and spinach in a tomato and truffle oil sauce and 12 hour braised steak for mains. Finally for desert chocolate brownie and tiramisu as we were in an Italian. Service was first class by friendly staff. A little expensive but was worth it. Would definitely return .

The food was good but it took over 30 minutes for them to take our order and then another hour to get our food which was just a long time and I realized this is a combination in Barbados but I had a higher restaurant like this. I was hoping for slightly better service. the view was amazing right on the beach. Definitely a place worth coming to at sunset. one issue I had was that the owner came and took our orders eventually but if you miss said any of the menu items she would correct. you quite loudly like it was a joke. but if you have any kind of social anxiety this might not be the restaurant for you to go to.
