Great experience! I found this bakery online, as I was traveling to Barbados to celebrate my birthday, so I was not familiar with the area. The owner was very professional. She provided the options and agreed to deliver the cupcakes to our resort. When they arrived, I was blown away. They were absolutely gorgeous and delicious! Highly recommend working with this business!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating even though I placed a late order and the weather was trying to interfere (if you know..you know...lol).
Overall I am very satisfied with the creativity and how moist the cake is as well as how quickly the custom order cake was made.
I would definitely recommend Island Gem Bakery to any cake lover!!!!

Small bakery on the top floor of a shopping mall.
The options include vegan & gluten free cupcakes, vegan banana bread and vegan lemon & berry loaf cake. The cupcake I had was a bit dry and crumbly (possibly becase of the gf flour), the banana bread was tasty but also quite dense. The winner was the lemon & berry loaf cake which was a bit lighter and the berries gave the cake more moisture.

It was must daughter’s first birthday and IslandGem Bakery made the experience that much better. I had a specific theme for the cake I ordered, Gabriella from Island Gem worked with me and delivered a beautiful cake which was beyond what I had imagined. And moreover, the cake tasted absolutely great. Thanks #IslandGemBakery

They made the exact cake I had envisioned. She accommodated all my requests and was so friendly and kind! Everyone was so impressed by her work! It was also very delicious!! Would definitely recommend!!
