It did the job. The portion sizes were very generous!
Coconut curry was lovely and the bbq chicken was flavourful too.
The brownie was a let down however. It was dry, like it had been left out too long… hence the 4 stars

We were staying at the Coconut Court hotel. Jake's is across the street. Warm and sultry night but the restaurant's fans helped ward off the heat. My Pina Colada was great. I ordered skillet Mac n cheese with shrimp. Was very tasty and cheesy and I ate too much. My partner had Quinoa Bowl with chicken and said it was very good. No complaints except that it was confusing where the actual restaurant entrance was. Went thru a gate into the courtyard. No one there. Saw a door towards the right in back and walked in. We were acknowledged and set at a table right away, but I'm still not sure we came in the right way.

Snuck over for dinner from the hotel. Great service, food was amazing (large portions), happy hour drink specials, great music and wonderful atmosphere. At true hit!

Jake's in Barbados was fantastic! I had the coconut-crusted Mahi Mahi, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent, and I have to give a big shoutout to Chef Crystal and her crew for making it such a great lunch. The flavors were on point, and the menu offered some excellent choices. I’ll definitely be back!
