Located in a quiet neighborhood, very comfortable and 15mins walk to the beach. Host was very kind and accommodating. I enjoyed my visit ☺

Nice quiet “cheap please “ to stay in this wonderful island. Walking distance to both beaches and village where I made my holidays. And Jo was very helpful and generous as a great companion for conservation. Definitely recommended 👍

Oh wow, i know this is coming late. But i want to specially thank Mr.John for his hospitality. It was indeed a unique experience that lead to our path crossing. on the 13th of January, 2020. i can recommend any one there. The place is clean, comfortable, a place you can call home away from home even though my visit was short. I am giving him a 5 star for everything because truly its well worth it and you get value for your money either for a private room or a share room. Mr.John takes pride in making his guest feel comfortable, for this i say thank you. Hoping to see you when i visit again and trust me am coming back there.

The review is the lowest I could give. The place was disgusting. No one to greet you. The curb appeal was non inviting. Enough mosquitoes to catch dengue. Read all the reviews. He only comments respectfully on the positive reviews. If your review is negative he rants and raves in improper English. Most reviews were long ago. Let me say this. If anyone want to spend his/her hard own cash in such an establishment that’s on you. I made that mistake once. NEVER AGAIN. I have all the texts between him and I when I stayed there. Respond to my review and I’ll email all to you. Before you book this “hotel” I beg you to take look at other reasonable hotels in much more safe environments.

Honestly very disappointed with our stay. When we arrived, owner made a 20 minute speech basically telling us that the appliances listed on the add such as the TV's were not working and to expect some noise during the morning because a construction crew was hired. Fast forward to us discovering our rooms, with stained bed sheets, no towels even though we were told there would be some, a dirty kitchen and a leaking fridge. We were also told that a cleaning team would be taking care of the house mid-stay (included in the price we paid), which is why we left some cups in the sink. You guessed right, the cleaning team never came and now the owner is claiming that we were unclean. We would of loved cleaning the dishes if a soap and a sponge were provided, which they weren't. And no, we were not gonna pay for a soap and a sponge because we already paid a good amount of money for cleaning services that never came. Owner claimed we smoke in the house which is completely untrue, and when he found out we smoked outside he arranged a smoking spot for us, but is now saying that the property is smoke free? Why would you arrange a smoking spot for us with chairs and a table if the property rule is no smoking? Again, absolutely no smoking happened in the house. I have to say, other than the mediocre state of the house when we got there, the one thing i'm really disappointed about is the audacity this owner has to be rude to his guests who pay great money to stay at his house. From day one, John had a rude response to anything we would say to him and you can see it with the way he replies to these google reviews. The owner is just not a host, in my opinion. Rude, cold and distant, he should not offer any services if he wants to act like this. John please dont bother answering this with your rude manners, im sharing my experience and you should learn to take criticism.
