Fun grocery shopping experience in Barbados. The crowd was pretty big but the checkout lines moved quick and everyone was super friendly. Found everything we needed for a few nights in Barbados, they even had Coors light beer, which surprised me. Prices weren’t bad. Parking lot is a little tight but we made it out ok!

Great simple market. Limited selection on certain imports. Some prices are overinflated due to imports. Still overall they have everything you should need. Service is great and fast.

I shop here for the relatively cheap prices, Ceres 100% juice (for the sugar cravings, although no sugar is added) and now I'm happy to see increasingly more vegan products like the Eat Real hummus, lentil and quinoa chips, perhaps due to the supermarket being frequented by tourists because of its location.
You can also get Farmer's Choice Veggie Burgers and Garden Bites which are vegan and a range of vegan Beyond Meat products including sausages, minced meat and chicken tenders. ⚠️ They're not always in stock. I've also found that shopping for vegetables is better after Wednesday.
You'll also find rice noodles, rice vermicelli and quinoa. There are some items you won't find here at the time of this post, like tofu or vegan ice-cream or sorbets.

They don’t even have decent bread 😭 The worst part is that there isn’t any store in miles from here.. so you are stuck with what they have to offer!

Generally had good experiences going to the Baxter's Road branch over the years but now that I've moved and frequent Fitts Village I've found some (not all) staff are very rude, in particular the elderly gentleman who was working the fruit/vegetable scale on Nov 18th , 2023 around 130pm. He very rudely and aggressively scolded me for picking up bananas he set aside for another customer when there was no way me or anyone would have known that was the situation. Not all staff are appropriate for customer facing roles and those who are placed in front of customers should have training and basic manners at the very least.
