From the farmer nurturing his produce ‘til harvest, to our Chef passionately creating gastronomic perfection, at LOCAL & Co. you meet the hands that feed you.

Over eighty-five percent of Barbados’ produce is imported. Our aim is to turn that on its head. It’s why we actively support regenerative food systems, organic farmers, biodiversity and meticulously source and forage for wild foods. By working alongside artisans, producers, farmers, fisherfolk and butchers on the Island we do whatever we can to help maintain the health of our oceans, soils and food communities.

By supporting them, they in turn support us so we can bring you homegrown, clean food… because for 100% you deserve to be nourished with the very best.

Freshly baked pies, pastries, outstanding salads, curries to die for and grab and go meals that will have you coming back for more. And that’s just the food.

We came for lunch today and ordered the waffle chicken, the burger, and two watermelon drinks. The smashed burger was tasty and came in a good portion with fries on the side. The waffle and chicken, however, didn’t quite meet expectations, it was just okay. The atmosphere is lovely and cute, which we really appreciated. As for the service, I’d give it a 3 at best. The staff could definitely be a bit more relaxed. The welcome felt a bit surly and moody, which didn’t set the best tone. Our waiter was nice but maybe a little over the top. She literally stood in front of us, waiting for my reaction to the food, which made me feel uncomfortable and awkward. A little space to enjoy the meal would’ve been nicer. Overall, I’d still give it a 4.

First of all, the atmosphere is so inviting. A beach vintage vibe. Love the decor. The staff are very attentive and professional. The food is also very good, even the plant based options. 8.5/10 on flavour only because for me personally, one dish I selected could use a tad more salt BUT that's a personal preference and I still enjoyed it. Everything else is 👌🏾

Great spot! Cute little store at the entrance (bought a pair of earrings), nice sit down area before main dining room. We just went for cocktails (variety of unique options) and shared the mushrooms. Fabian and Chris offered great service & knowledge of the menu/food. You also can’t beat the view… the ambiance is such a vibe! Can’t wait to come back!

This place is absolutely stunning and feels like an experience from start to finish! From the eye-catching exterior to the charming gift shop you first step into, through the cozy seating area, vibrant bar, and out to the breezy deck, the decor will blow you away with its eclectic, cool vibes. The service is spot-on, the drinks are out of this world, and the food is top-notch. We went for breakfast, and there’s usually some street parking right out front, though you might need to walk a little on the one-way road (no worries, the sidewalks make it a breeze). We indulged in French toast, quiche, a breakfast sandwich, americanos, virgin mojitos, and lattes. The presentation was a total showstopper, and the flavors? Just as impressive. Oh, and our coffees even came with a little cinnamon treat on the side! As with most spots on the island, just be ready to enjoy a leisurely pace when it comes to getting your food and check. We walked the beach while waiting and found some cool sea glass.

Came to us as a “must see” from a local to the island. We had an amazing family dinner on the sand/beach and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. They dealt with gluten and nut allergy perfectly and had several choices for us. Service was prompt and checked in on us to ensure we always had what we needed
