You know that moment you realize you’ve been having such a good time that you forgot to eat breakfast? I’m on day 3 of my Bajan vacay and just realized I need breakfast. After a short walk and a ZTR ride it was clear that the Lucky Horseshoe was a great choice. Greeted by Ms. Karen the manager. Immediately welcomed by our server Allison who was absolutely amazing! She made sure that this experience was a memorable, pleasant and exceptional one. Immersion into the culture is always a must for me so the Bajan Ole Time Breakfast was a must! Oh my, the burst of flavors on my palate absolutely blew my mind. The Bajan bakes look like pancakes but offer much more flavor and texture… no syrup needed. The fish cakes and plantains were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! To say the food here is delicious is an understatement. The food is incredible 🤩. No, my plate wasn’t cleaned only because of the healthy portion. Otherwise it would have definitely been cleaned. They are definitely taking the health and safety of everyone seriously here on the island. The prices are great, the food..incredible, the service..exceptional and the location..awesome! The open at 7am on Sat & Sun. Just as we were leaving we had a friendly conversation with Mr. Chris. This definitely was an experience to write home about or better yet, share on Google 😂

Lunch at Lucky Horseshoe Bar & Grill in Bridgetown, Barbados We got complimentary Chips and Salsa as we waited which was delicious. I had the Red Hot Chicken Sandwich which was okay but for someone who loves pepper I was waiting for the spicy kick but only got the tangy flavour of the Buffalo Sauce.. For $19 but it was tasty nonetheless. I also ordered a side of Sweet Potato Fries for a startling $12 but they were really good so I didn't complain... Crispy on the outside and Soft on the inside. Lastly I got a Piña Colada for $12. Coming from, Belize a place with a superb Coconut (Kuknat) Rum, I had high expectations, sadly they were not met. The drink was average; the coconut rum they used was on the bitter side. The ambience however and the service was excellent. My friend also got the quarter pound Wrangler which she could not finish.
