Stumbled upon Marcy's bar as John Moores rum shack was closed.
So glad we did as what a wonderful welcome from Marcy.
The rum punch with a twist of grapefruit was simply delicious and a free offering of bajan fish cakes was greatly received.
You have to check out the stoned monkey!

Stopped in for lunch - we both had the chicken and fried rice and it was amazing - so much flavor. The rum punch was fantastic as well. We absolutely will be back.

Marcy is an amazing and lovely women. We spent hours chatting with her and her husband after eating her delicious food, best ribs we ever had! Really good rum punch and great prices. Don't leave Barbados without visiting her!

We heard about Marcys from other guests in our complex around the corner.
Marcy was cooking the day we first went, and we were not disappointed. Marcy is a warm, welcoming person as a host.
The food is basic , no frills local but most of all delicious.
We both had grilled chicken and fried rice. The rice is full of vegetables and well flavoured with local spices.
The rum punch is delicious - Marcys own recipe !
All very reasonably priced. Meals and drinks for 2 - BDS 90, 45us$ or £40.
We would definitely go back

Closed at 8:10am, despite being advertised as open from 7:30am. Next day: "No food today".
