We had a great time.We rented loungers and umbrella. The water was nice.We had a nice lunch upstairs, and we went back on a Thursday morning to watch the horses.

Nice beach close to the city centre of Bridgetown. There’s a pretty nice parking lot close to the beach. The parking is free but I would recommend going early as it can get full pretty fast. Close to the parking lot is a changing place. The beach is very long so it doesn’t feel as crowded if you get there in the afternoon.

Nice long stretch of beach with public showers and washrooms. Food from the local vendors was superb and cheap! We paid $20 for 2 beds and a brolly. Fresh fish and salad $8 and cold beers $4

We stopped on route to Carlisle Bay to see the race horses being bathed. My husband was lucky enough to meet and chat with Sean Hall, the horse trainer who is knowledgeable and clearly has a love of horses and is an interesting guy (he didn't agree with some of the younger guys offering rides on the horses). It is a wonderful spectacle, on a lovely beach at sunrise. It draws the crowds in and is a popular attraction. We didn't stay on the beach for the rest of the day so can't comment on that. It is flanked by two big hotels the Radisson Blu and the Hilton.

Very nice quiet, clean place which located between Radisson and Hilton hotels. Beach chairs and umbrellas offered for $25 per 2 chairs +umbrella. It is about 20 min drive from the cruise port. We paid $15 per couple one way.
