Great to have such a reliable taxi app for Barbados. I have used it daily for about one week.
Generally, the estimated wait and driving times are accurate and the rates are the same as those quoted when hailing a cab.
Every once in a while, like on Friday nights, no drivers are available. But this is the typical experience on island. Try again after a couple of minutes and you might be lucky.
My only gripe with the app is that the map zooming function doesn't work well on smaller iPhone SE screens. This is only an issue when you don't have an exact address to be picked up from, like a parking lot.

We had great experiences with pickUP Barbados. Cars arrived quickly, vehicles immaculate and super friendly drivers! Pricing on-par with regular cabs. Will definitely use again.

I was so happy to find a service like this on the island. It took a while to be connected to a driver but I chalked that up to the service being fairly new.
I loved being able to book a taxi for my elderly mother, see the progress of her drive, communicate with the driver, and know the exact fare charged. The app was easy to navigate and saved me a lot of time.
Before finding pickUP Barbados, I had called three other services listed on google. None of them were able to help me or even recommend an alternative that could provide a ride from Rock Hall St. Lucy to Speightstown on demand. Given my mother’s health, I wasn’t about to send her on a bus.
We were connected to a very accommodating driver who arrived promptly and delivered my mother safely to her destination. She said her driver was great and she’d prefer to have him again if she needed a taxi.
I highly recommend pickUP Barbados. It’s the best option when you need reliable and professional transportation right away. I will definitely be using the app again.

Very handy to have the app. The drivers always seem to be close by and are easy to get and the fares are reasonable. It would be helpful to get the type of car and color rather than just the driver’s name and plate number. It is much easier to look for a car rather than a plate. Occasionally ran into a glitch where the app told me I wasn’t where I actually was, and for the last ride initially couldn’t leave a tip or rating.

Barbados has needed this type of thing for years! Well done Pick Up Barbados, the app worked great, the driver was professional and on time, the vehicle tracking worked, the price seemed no more than a regular taxi. 5 Star!
