I was so happy to find a service like this on the island. It took a while to be connected to a driver but I chalked that up to the service being fairly new.
I loved being able to book a taxi for my elderly mother, see the progress of her drive, communicate with the driver, and know the exact fare charged. The app was easy to navigate and saved me a lot of time.
Before finding pickUP Barbados, I had called three other services listed on google. None of them were able to help me or even recommend an alternative that could provide a ride from Rock Hall St. Lucy to Speightstown on demand. Given my mother’s health, I wasn’t about to send her on a bus.
We were connected to a very accommodating driver who arrived promptly and delivered my mother safely to her destination. She said her driver was great and she’d prefer to have him again if she needed a taxi.
I highly recommend pickUP Barbados. It’s the best option when you need reliable and professional transportation right away. I will definitely be using the app again.

Great app, basically a Uber service. Call a local taxi for a ride somewhere.
I used this to get a taxi to the airport from oistins.
-There was many cars available at 1130am on a friday.
-the car had less then 5 min time to arrival when i comfirmed ride.
-price is a estimate base on possible traffic.
-Cheaper then other prebooked taxi rides
-Driver was good and friendly. my big suitecase in the trunk.
i dont use taxis much, but i would recommend this app when needed in Barbados

Great app - proved to be really useful during our stay in Barbados.
Service is quick, reliable and cheap - drivers all seemed friendly too.
Would definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Barbados.

Fantastic service offering prompt and care free charges for rides throughout the island. Drivers were. Drivers were very courteous and mindful of safety but took extra care to get around obstacles and congestion to arrive at destinations on time.
I highly recommend Andy to get you to your destination safely and he will entertain you along the way.

The PickUp Barbados is fantastic for taxi service in Barbados. We used it heavily for getting around the west coast on a recent 8 day visit. Hailing taxis via the app was fast, reliable and very easy. Every driver we had was friendly and professional. The app gives you an estimate based on your destination, allows you to pay via credit card or cash, even for the tip. Highly recommend and will use again!
