I would like to Thank everyone at the Aqua Center for the level of expertise, knowledge and customer care. They absolutely amazing. If anyone is even thinking about wanting to Dive, these are the people to introduce, talk to and show you how to do it the safe and proper way. Thank you Tory, you are an amazing teacher.

I had a great time diving with the Sandals team on Barbados. Everything was taken care for us from transport to the ship, equipment already set up, towels, snacks between dives. Our dive master for the week was Ken who took super good care of us. My wife who is a beginner diver felt very safe every time we got in the water. I loved how spacious the dive boat was, and the sites are incredible. Multiple wrecks, turtles on all 4 of our dives and beautiful underwater life. Scheduling your dives once at the resort is super easy. Might be even better to start scheduling before you arrive to not miss out on the opportunity. For us there was always a free spot but in high season this might look different. I'm really happy we stayed and Sandals and had the experience to dive with this team

I did my open water certification with Ken at Sandals and can only highly recommend! He tailored the training dives according to my progress, not wasting time on elements I managed well but also making sure I nail the important ones. Ken always made me feel safe and comfortable while also making sure I have a great time. On the open water dives, the team takes care of everything. You just show up and enjoy :) Note: the pin doesn’t seem to be in the right location. The aqua center has moved to another location.

I came to Sandals Royal Barbados with the goal of completing my open water dive certification. Right from our very first conversation Instructor Ken was super accommodating to my schedule which was already starting to fill up with excursions and dinner reservations. Once we were in the water, Ken went above and beyond what I would expect any instructor to do and really made my vacation 5 stars. Thank you Ken and I hope to come back and dive again soon.

My review is for the sandals dive centre on the resort itself. I never made it to the boats, through my choice. The purpose of my trip to Sandals in Barbados was specifically for diving. I came knowing that may have to have a refresher, although it really would have not been necessary if the dive shop had attempted to ask the right questions. I am an advanced openwater with certification in drysuit and mixed gases with my own equipment and well over 200hrs of diving. Unfortunately it never came to that. I could have easily lied and said that I had been diving in the last 6 months, however I decided honesty would be the best policy in this case. The attendant at the desk of the dive shop was terribly rude and appeared dis-interested and unknowledgable when asked about about dive site information and details. I finally spoke with Michael who was pleasant enough, but I felt asked the wrong questions. I had no intention to pay 140.00US for a "refresher", and to waste hours of my 1 week vacation to go through the motions of subject matter that I was well versed in, especially after paying over $8,000 Tobe there in the first place. So I lost a little confidence in who and where I would eventually been diving. This is my personal experience and may not reflect the experience of others. Robert Poole.
