Great beach with calm turquoise waters and white sands. You can see small silver fish swimming around you in the clear water. It is not crazy busy - it'll most likely be folks from the adjoining hotels / Airbnbs or visiting catamarans. You can gain access by parking beside the bus stop near One Sandy Lane and walking down the path beside it to the ocean. Do note that there are no restaurants or other similar establishments on this beach.

This beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. It is very serene, peaceful and not at all busy or crowded, with gorgeous golden Sand that stretches for as far as the eye can see! It is also very clean!
The sea is very calm, warm and blue in January.

Elitist beach with no public access
Basically there is no public access to the beach. You cannot purchase drinks and there are signs separating the private and public land. We managed to get on to the beach, 6 of us including a baby and a child under 5 via a hotel, who reluctantly let us through. The beach is indeed one of the most stunning in Barbados however the elitist nature of the people was very off putting, an American woman was too delighted to tell me that the bars were exclusively for the use of the Sandy Lane home owners. When we walked to the end there was no way off. My daughter walked through the sea along the edge of the coast and was fortunate enough to find a local fisherman and his boat who literally rescued us from the beach. I have been going to Barbados since 1983, I would normally stay on the south coast. This experience has really been disappointing and it definitely does not sit well with me that sections of the beach are essentially being made private by failing to provide proper public access to all of Barbados' beaches. If I lived here I would be campaigning for improved public access to all of the beaches. This is a stain on the reputation of Barbados. If you do make it onto this beach bring your own provisions and exit strategy.

Lovely beach for light sand and swimming. Only 3 stars from me due to personal preference as the snorkelling is not as interesting as beaches just a few minutes walk away and access is tricker due to the hotels there. Much of the beach is covered by sun loungers, etc, especially at high tide, so the only really accessible bits if you dont stay an adjacent hotel hasn't got shade and is relatively steeply sloping. Nice, but other nearby beaches so much better depending on what you're after.

The most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to! The question for you is: how will you get there? To get access to the beach its a bit tricky! You can’t just walk straight to the beach. You need to go south beyond the hotel Sandy Lane. The access is next to ONE Sandy Lane. But it’s worth the trouble! 🤭
