We stopped at Simone’s for lunch during our beach day at Reeds bay. She welcomed us into her food shack with a smile on her face like we were family. We ended up getting the catch of the day, rice and peas, corn pie, and coleslaw. The food was delicious and you can tell it was made with her heart. We sat outside on some benches to enjoy our meal, and she came over to give us some fresh baked banana bread as well for no charge. It was such a treat. Definitely be sure to pay Simone a visit during your stay :)

What a lovely lady Simone is, so helpful and friendly.
She is based at the South end of Reeds Bay beach. Lots of shade under the tree if you get there early.
The perfect spot for snorkeling as there is a reef a few meters offshore.
She provides local foods at lunchtime and drinks.
The big plus is she charges half the price, for beds and brollys, then other guys along the coast and there is parking right beside her spot.

I love this place! Simone is so friendly and welcoming. The beach is lovely and the charge for beds and umbrellas is reasonable. Food is a little expensive but home cooked by Simone's mother and is delicious. A cold beer, a beach bed and umbrella and the view here is pretty much paradise.

TOURIST TRAP!! I wanted to love Simone’s food — and drove halfway across the islands to get back there since she wasn’t open when we visited first time around. And while the ladies are all lovely, you tell me if 38 BB$ for a simple jerk chicken plate with macaroni pie plus rice and peas is a rip off? Especially when the chicken is dry, lacks flavor (just as the sides). Didn’t even visit alone, but with a local driver guide who confirmed we got charged double of what it should have been. She liked the food, calling it “old school”. My 15 BB$ pork and souce in Speightstown was worlds better as was the fish and rice with salad at ‘Da SweetPot’. It’s a lovely beach and the beer’s cold, but Simone’s was lackluster and overcharged the wrong food loving visitors. I threw away 90 percent of the food, with a heavy heavy heart. So sad, if only my other local favorites that don’t treat visitors like Simone did would have been open on Sunday.
