This is my home Church and it is one of the most beautiful Anglican churches in the island of Barbados. There are various services throughout the week that are convenient for those who work or are retired. The church clergy and staff are very friendly. The members of the congregation are also very welcoming. The church yard is very beautiful and historic. There is a Parish hall on the opposite side of the road as well as a hard court for sports such as basketball, netball and volleyball.

A lovely old churchyard, dating back many hundreds of years. There are three huge Silk Cotton trees which sit between the graves, adding a leafy umbrella covering the entire graveyard. My great-grand parents WILLIAMS are buried here, the second grave in from the entrance.
Just two weeks ago, we buried my long-time friend Theodore David Gittens here, in the Gittens family crypt which sits near the road about 50 yards from the main entrance.

The St. Philip's Parish Church is an Anglican/Episcopal church in the St. Philip's Parish in the Island of Barbados. This Church although historic in Appearance has a well up-kept and maintained facade. There is a not a attractive auxiliary building acting as an addendum/annex to the main building.
The church grounds is very spacious and has an open well manicured lawn and parking lot. The building seems to be mainly photographed from the side facing the lawn and not the front, I found my self inexplicable doing the same thing with my photos. located in the midst of.many sugar plantations and close to a still operating factory this edifice played its special part in the sugar industry.
Visitors are greeted with a aesthetically appealing structure which is vintage and historic yet still in much use. A great place to visit for anyone in the vicinity.
