On a visit to Pebbles Beach in Barbados we were looking for a snorkelling experience. Jay Jay set us up with a fantastic boat tour around Carlisle Bay that included snorkelling to a shipwreck, swimming with turtles and a rum punch. If you go, Jay Jay is the man to help you out!

Calm sea perfect for swimming, saw lots of interesting fish even in the shallow area when I had my snorkel on. Stony at times in the ocean, but the stones are not sharp.
There are amenities nearby including toilets, although despite being managed and have an attendant (who, when she’s not looking at the ocean, looks people up and down when they walk in), there was one loo roll between three cubicles and NO hand soap, also one toilet had a faulty lock.
A few beachside bars, loungers for hire, paddle boards, jet skis and more…As well as parking right by the beach. Benches behind the beach, when you want a break in the shade.
Sadly I found broken glass on the beach which I retrieved and put in the bin, also a little scary at times the jet skis coming into shore near to where people are swimming or have their head under the surface.

Excellent swimming location at all times of the day. We stayed to the middle which was quieter as the Radisson is right there. Umbrella and lounge chair rentals available, bathroom facilities and a carpark area. Not much in the way of food during the week. We went a couple of times during our stay and enjoyed each visit.

Absolutely awesome water and if you go you have to stop Cuz's to get a fish cutter. One of the best sandwiches in the world
