Stunning location, wonderful staff and excellent service, superb food and extensive wine list, and decent cocktails to boot - this is a great restaurant. There is only one other on the island like it (Champers); to compare the two, I’d say that The Cliff serves what I’d call ‘modern European’ cuisine with an excellent sushi selection also and some high-end wagyu, whereas Champers has a more Caribbean-twist menu. Everyone gets a seaside table at The Cliff unlike Champers. I can honestly say that I love both. The Cliff was very reminiscent of my favourite restaurant in London (Scott’s), except with a far better view! I’ve no hesitation in highly recommending this place.

Amazing dinner, superb service and magnificent view. The wine cellar is outstanding, the food has nothing to envy any Michelin 3 star restaurant. Even the bread service is a show. Its pricey but justifiable. One of the best, if not the best, places in Barbados. This place is a top restaurant compared to any city in the world. Magnificent!

This is the most exclusive and expensive restaurant on Barbados. The location is dramatic and the soundtrack is of the Caribbean pounding against the cliff. The restaurant has had an extensive makeover and a whole new interior design theme. The staff are a bit snooty and pleased with themselves. It is very expensive and the experience just about justifies the cost. Just about…. It’s a fun place and I just hope it doesn’t end up taking itself too seriously.

What a great experience! Lovely my wife and I ate there yesterday. It was simply sublime. They gave me a tour of their wine cellar and recommended a 2018 Bordeaux (Chateau Beychevelle) to go with my Tenderloin. It did not disappoint.
Staff were excellent and made our visit really special. We’ll be back for an anniversary celebration soon!

This was the highlight of our trip to Barbados last December and one of the best meals I’ve ever had anywhere in the world!
So why was it so good? The holy trinity of great food, great service and great atmosphere.
We booked an early sitting (5.30pm) which meant the restaurant was basically empty for a good 30/45 mins when we arrived. We had an incredible and uninterrupted ocean view of the sunset and practically all of the friendly and helpful waiting staff all to ourselves. We took our time ordering cocktails and taking in the view and sound of the waves crashing on the beach below.
As well as the 3 courses we ordered, there was also some amuse bouche and a bread trolley of dreams (rather than basket) - with standard offerings you’d expect as well as more bold flavoured breads with cheese and bacon. I’d have eaten more of it but I needed to sabe room for ordering from the main menu. We stuck largely to the seafood - including sashimi, octopus and lobster and all of it was super fresh and tasty.
Just when we thought we were done, the waiter brought two hefty mince pies out with our tea and coffee. We took our time enjoying this final offering whilst we watched the sharks and fish swimming in the ocean below (it’s all lit up at night).
This restaurant is on the £££ side but if you’re celebrating something and frankly even if you aren’t, make the booking and you won’t be disappointed that you did!
